According to Nielsen, in July, year over year growth in mobile web usage overall was 34%, increasing from 42.5 million in ‘08 to 56.9 in ‘09. That number is light, for sure, as other indicators point to north of 60 million mobile web users. But the yoy growth rate is probably correct and what is even more interesting is the audience composition and growth by audience segment – see below. Oh yeah, the report also lists top mobile web sites traffic volume as estimated by Nielsen.
